Pacific Bleeding Heart, Dicenta formosa
Pacific Bleeding Heart is a perennial found along the moist west coast of North America from British Columbia down to California. It has drooping pinkish-purple flowers which are heart shaped at the base. Each flower has four petals with the outer two petals having a sac-like spur structure. The flowers grow in clusters of up to 15 on a stem.
