Candystick, Allotropa virgata
Candystick, Allotropa virgata
With its unusual red and white stripes, Candystick resembles Christmas candy canes. It is found in the rich, moist coniferous forests of western North America. Its flowers are also red and white, but interestingly they do not have petals.
