Crane Fly, Tipula Bicornis
Crane Fly, Tipula bicornis
Crane Flies are often mistaken for being giant mosquitoes, but they are harmless, so don't panic if one sneaks into your house. They neither bite, nor sting. The one thing you'll notice about the Crane Fly is its six long legs which are almost stilt-like. It also has a long body and two longer, slender wings. There are over 15,000 species.
