The Multicoloured Asian Lady Beetle was introduced to North America to control aphids. It is sometimes called the Halloween Lady Beetle as it often seeks shelter from colder weather in the autumn by sneaking into homes. Asian Ladybugs come in a variety of colours and spot patterns ranging from yellow-orange to bright red-orange; with or without spots. The "W" arrangement on the face helps identify it from other ladybird species.
