Red Rocks of Sedona
Strikingly colourful rocks surround the area of Sedona, Arizona.
This is a photographer's delight with fascinating ever-changing monoliths to capture.
|

The rocks are the result of millions upon millions of years of geological activity. Iron gives these sandstone formations their colour. Many are topped of with white or gray limestone. Water has seeped into cracks and eroded the rock creating lovely columns and shapes that seem to change with the different light.
