Alberta's Jasper National park is a region of mountains, alpine meadows, mighty rivers and glaciers. High on the continental divide straddling Jasper and British Columbia are some of Canada's highest mountains and a vast icefield.

This is a unique spot, for from here waters melt and flow in many directions: west through to the Pacfiic Ocean; east across the plains and into Hudson Bay as well as north and drain into the Arctic Ocean.
