Arches National Park is a scenic gem in southwestern Utah.
It is a hot, desert place of sculptured rock, the result of millions of years of erosion and weathering.
|
The forces of nature have resulted in the creation of natural arches, after which the park takes its name.
There are over 2,000 such arches ranging in size from a few feet across to hundreds of feet from base to base.
New arches continue to be formed as old ones gradually crash and are destroyed.

Touring the park is a spectacular experience of towering spires, pinnacles and balanced rocks.
