Get ready to get to do some great birding and counting! The Great Backyard Bird Count is an important annual census of birds and a great chance to get involved in an important project involving your favourite hobby.

The Great Backyard Bird Count is a fabulous opportunity to get out birding and report each and every sighting of birds during a four day period.

In 2013 from around the world 3610 species were spotted and a total of 34 512 432 birds were counted!
