Black-throated Gray Warbler
Black-throated Gray Warbler, Dendroica nigrescens
The Black-throated Gray Warbler is a small songbird that breeds in western North America and generally migrates to Mexico for winter. It is gray, black and white but perhaps its most significant feature is the yellow patches in front of the eyes. Only the male has the black throat, after which it is named. This photograph is the female.
