Pacific Golden-Plover, Pluvialis fulva
Plovers are long-legged, short-billed shorebirds. The Pacific Golden-Plover is characterized by splashes of gold in its plumage and gold eyebrows. It nests in the tundra of western Alaska and migrates vast distances to places along the west coast and down to South America.
