Olive-sided Flycatcher, Contopus cooperi
The Olive-sided Flycatcher is a summer resident of the boreal and western coniferous forests of North America. It darts from its high perch to catch flying insects, often returning to the same perch. Due to the loss of wintering habitat in Central America and northern South America has suffered a serious decline in numbers and is now classified as "Near-Threatened."
