Baja Fairy Duster, Calliandra californica
The Baja Fairy Duster is unique shrub with stunning, bright red flowers that resemble puffs. They add splashes of vibrant colours in its native home, Baja California, Mexico. This shrub is actually a member of the pea family and produces its seeds in pods. Because of its beauty and long-flowering season you might come across this unique plant being used in desert and even tropical landscapes and gardens.
