Nuttall’s Toothwort, Cardamine nuttallii
Nuttall's Toothwort is a member of the mustard family of plants (Brassicaceae). It goes by numerous common names including Beautiful Bitter Cress and Slender Toothwort. It is found in western North America from British Columbia south to California enjoying moist forests at low elevations. As you can see, the delightful white flowers have four petals. The plant is named after Thomas Nuttall, a 19th-century British ornithologist and botanist.
