Pointed Mariposa Lily, Calochortus apiculatus
Pointed Mariposa Lily has a relatively small range, inhabiting dry and open areas of the foothills and mountainsides of southeastern British Columbia, east into Alberta and south down to parts of Idaho and Montana. The three yellowish-white flower petals have hairs at the base and points at the tips.
