Desert Verbena, Glandularia gooddingii
Desert Verbena is also called the Southwestern Mock Vervain and as that name suggests it comes from the southwestern United States (and parts of northern Mexico). It is at home in the rocky sandy parts of the desert environment. As a member of the verbena family of flowers, it grows the characteristic dense head of many small flowers.
